Types of Conveyor roller idlers we are manufactiring
Troughing Idlers: These are the most common type of conveyor idlers and are used to support the belt in a troughed configuration. They are typically shaped like a trough to guide the belt and prevent spillage of material.
Return Idlers: Positioned beneath the conveyor belt on the return side, return idlers support the belt as it returns from the discharge point back to the loading point. They help maintain proper belt tension and prevent sagging.
Impact Idlers: Impact idlers are designed to absorb impact forces from falling material onto the conveyor belt. They feature rubber discs or cushions to cushion the impact and protect the belt and other conveyor components.
Training Idlers: Training idlers are used to ensure that the conveyor belt stays centered and aligned along its path. They are often installed on the return side of the conveyor belt and can be adjustable to correct belt misalignment.
Transition Idlers: Transition idlers are used at the point where the conveyor belt transitions from a flat profile to a troughed profile, or vice versa. They help smooth the transition and reduce stress on the belt.
Guide Idlers: Guide idlers are installed at key points along the conveyor path to help guide the belt and prevent it from wandering off track. They are particularly useful in curved or complex conveyor systems.
Self-Aligning Idlers: Self-aligning idlers automatically adjust to maintain proper belt alignment, reducing the need for manual adjustment and minimizing belt wear and tear.
Comb Idlers: Comb idlers feature closely spaced rollers arranged in a comb-like configuration. They are used in applications where material spillage needs to be minimized, such as at transfer points or loading zones.
Spiral Idlers: Spiral idlers feature spiral-shaped rollers that help clean the conveyor belt by scraping off material residue. They are commonly used in applications where material carryback is a concern.
Live Shaft Idlers: Live shaft idlers have a shaft that rotates with the roller, providing better power transmission and reducing wear on the roller bearings.
